IEC Classifieds

Due to economic uncertainty and situation with job market; alot of our community members are looking for employment. To do our part in helping our dear brothers and sisters in faith, we have added a classified page to our website. The classified page will have two sections.

First section will be for employers offering job opportunities. We encourage community members having job opportunities to notify us at classified@iec-houston.org with details about the job openings. We will update our classifieds page daily at night. Second section will be for individuals seeking employment; on this page we will list an anonymous description of the individual along with interested position. We request our dear brothers and sisters seeking employment to contact us at classified@iec-houston.org with their contact information and the interested position. Once an employer approaches us we will share the job seekers contact information with them.

Job Description:
Medical Assistant to provide First Aid to students, implement school health policies and provide administrative support to front office, teachers and administrators.
Qualifications:
* Must be over 18 years of age
* High School diploma required; Bachelors degree preferred
* Medical Assistant training required
* Must enjoy working with children
* Must demonstrate organizational, communication, and computer skills (email, Excel, Microsoft Word, etc)
* Candidate must be detail-oriented, and able to multitask and work independently within a team environment
Sample Job Responsibilities:
* Provide First Aid to students
* Communicate with parents regarding school health policies
* Administer prescribed / over-the-counter medications as requested by parents

Shipper and receiver Report to Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor

Duties

+ Work in the safe manner
+ Plans the shipments ahead of time with the help of planning report.
+ Pick and stage the loads for the next day and day after.
+ Check loads for counting errors and make sure that loads are shipped with accuracy.
+ Accurately prepares all shipping documents: Pick-lists, bills of lading, custom papers, check system to ensure product is complete for shipping. Short shipments must be advised to CSR before shipping.
+ Do cycle counts as per Schedule provided by Inventory Analyst.
+ Maintain drivers log (in and out), Fork lift check list, trailer inspection record.
+ Ordering supplies for warehouse.
+ Communicates effectively with customer service.
+ Daily posting of all shipping related paperwork.
+ On time completion of all shipping, receiving reports as required. (Daily, weekly, monthly)
+ Actively identifies and pursues continuous improvement opportunities.
+ Use RF Scanners to do all transactions.
+ Receive Return goods and other products and prepare documents accurately.

Qualifications

+ A High School Diploma is required.
+ Knowledge of RF scanning is definitely an asset.
+ Positive attitudes to successful interact and get results from all levels.
+ 4-7 years of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced warehousing environment would be a definite asset.
+ Knowledge Cycle counts and Physical Inventory is desirable
+ Familiar with logistics equipment including forklifts and tractor-trailer equipment.
+ Above-average organizational skills, detail oriented, and analytical skills.
+ Loyal attitude towards the Company and a good Team player.
+ Good Computer skills. Knowledge of MS outlook, Excel and ERP system is definitely an advantage.
+ Must have a valid fork lift licence.

Pay Rate $12 up to $15 depending upon experience.

Set up Technician

Reports to the Production supervisor.

Duties

+ Works in a safe manner and with the protective devices, measures and procedures required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations and those within Company Policy
+ Makes use of PPE (Personal Protective Devices) or clothing that the employer requires to be used or worn
+ Diligently follows all Lockout/Tag out procedures. When unsure about how to lockout, seeks directions from the Supervisor
+ Maintains a clean and safe work area and follows 5S on everyday basis.
+ Perform machine and tool setups all GN or equivalent machines, robotic stackers (if Applicable), up-stackers etc.
+ Work as backup Supervisor in his absence.
+ Support Supervisor on productivity improvement, reducing down time/set-up time, scrap rate and other project work.
+ Perform Trouble Shooting of the Machines and all related machinery.
+ Support sample-making activities.
+ Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety standards.
+ Other duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

+ Junior Millwright is preferred
+ Experience in thermoforming is preferred.
+ Good in troubleshooting mechanical machinery skills.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of set-ups.
+ Above-average organizational skills, detail oriented, and analytical skills.
+ Loyal attitude towards the Company and a good Team player.
+ Good Computer skills. Knowledge of MS outlook, Excel and ERP system is definitely an advantage.
+ Minimum (4) four to five (5) year work experience
+ Time management skills.
